Mus-e Kosova, in its mission to infuse education with the transformative power of the arts, embarked on an enriching partnership with Terre Des Hommes Kosovo in 2021-2023. This collaboration fostered creativity and expression among children at the Day Care Center, offering them a platform to explore their talents and emotions through various artistic mediums. Innovative Artistic Programs The program was characterized by an array of artistic activities designed to engage and inspire young minds: Music Workshops by Rinor Ukimeri: Over 64 hours of music sessions were conducted, where children learned to express themselves through percussive instruments, unlocking their rhythmic talents and fostering a love for music. Sculpture Workshops with Fleta Baraku: Children delved into the tactile world of sculpture, spending 64 hours moulding clay and other materials, allowing them to give form to their imagination and creativity. Drama Workshops with Albulena Bokshi: Children built confidence and teamwork skills by engaging in various drama activities. Games focused on concentration, imitation, accuracy, and imagination played a crucial role in fostering self-expression and camaraderie among participants. Special Highlights and Success Stories Street Performance: Adding to the festivities, a street performance was staged, further highlighting the children’s achievements and the transformative power of the arts. This engaging performance brought art to the public, creating a memorable experience for participants and onlookers.
Culminating Event at the Red Hall: The collaboration reached a crescendo with a joint Prishtina’s Red Hall event featuring music and sculpture exhibitions. The event showcased the children’s remarkable talents and underscored the vibrant partnership between Mus-e Kosova and TDHK.
