The Radio Peace project is an innovative initiative under the Erasmus+ program, aiming to use the universal languages of music and dance to foster peace, intercultural dialogue, and social inclusion among young people. With a focus on the Western Balkans and Europe, the project targets youth from diverse backgrounds, particularly those from conflict-affected areas, to develop their skills in teamwork, tolerance, and mutual understanding. By leveraging non-formal education methods and cultural heritage, the project empowers young people to become ambassadors of peace, fostering respect for diversity and democratic values. Key activities include international training courses for youth workers, youth exchanges, local workshops, and the creation of a “RadioPeace” guide to share best practices and methodologies. These initiatives are complemented by social media campaigns featuring music and dance performances that promote peace and reconciliation. Partners: The project is led by MV International (MVI) from Italy, a network of NGOs with extensive experience in European projects. Partner organizations include: Youth Society for Peace and Development of the Balkans (YSPDB) from Bulgaria, focusing on youth engagement and cultural development. MUS-e Kosova from Kosovo, promoting intercultural exchange through artistic endeavors. Antik Association from Albania, emphasizing the use of art and culture to foster social cohesion.
